Skin care (Lush and La Roche-Posay)

As you can probably tell from the title I'm going to be talking about skin care. We all struggle to find a good product that works for our faces! So I'm just going to talk about a few things that I think have really helped my skin over the past couple of months ,and some things that are completely useless.

First of all on my list is the La Roche-Posay priced around £15 for 40ml.
This product is seriously one of the best things I've used on my face for a long time. I apply it morning and night (when I can remember) and just use it as a moisturiser ,it's absolutely amazing for preventing spots and decreasing the visible ness of scars.I love it! It defiantly has worked wonders for my skin and I will defiantly be re purchasing this again.

It makes your skin feel very smooth too and just more flawless looking ,I also used it on a morning before putting my makeup on ,and it never effected the way my makeup looked which was good!
As this is my first ever La Roche-Posay product I'm defiantly looking forward to trying out some of there other products and seeing if they live up to expectations too.

My next product that I can't get enough of lately is the Lush Tea tree toner water ,priced around £7.50 for the bigger bottle.
I love this ,you just spritz it over your face whenever you feel like freshening up and it makes your skin feel so healthy and fresh. The tea tree in it isn't too strong so it's not too harsh on your face, meaning it's good for sensitive skin people.Overall I really like this product and it's just great for getting rid of any left over makeup or dead skin etc ,makes you feel more alive!

Ocean salt by Lush is another product I can't forget about using! Priced around £7.50 for the bigger pot.
This scrub is seriously gorgeous! Can't get enough of it ,I use it once a week and it's such a great scrub. It's quite harsh but does the job. You can water it down to get a less harsh effect ,incase you have super super sensitive skin. I don't think that's necessary as the scrub alone just makes your skin feel so soft and smooth it's incredible! The taste isn't good so try not to get it in your mouth while getting it off or tastes like salt water (not nice). I got mine way before Christmas and I still have more than half left so it's defiantly worth getting the bigger pot! When you're in lush next id defintaly recommend you check this product out Xx

The one thing I've been hating is the BBseaweed face mask from Lush ,got mine for £7.50 I think? Not entirely sure.
Truthfully the face mask is awful not only is it like wall paper paste to get off your face ,it leaves me with visible red burn marks on my cheeks ,and I have no idea why. It does make my skin extremely soft after but due to having very sensitive skin I think this product may be a little to harsh for my face. The smell is okay but not the nicest and I generally feel like it doesn't do much than sit on my face for 10 mins.
As you can tell it's very think.

I know lush have some great face masks ,this is why I was so disappointed however I will persevere and attempt to test it out further and buy other face masks from Lush. Not all are bad I hope!

That's if for today's post ,I hope you enjoyed it ,be sure to follow me on instagram (@lcystirlingx_) or twitter (@lucystirling_) for when I post next

Thanks for reading ,Lucy Xx
